 Alan 'Shacky' Jones

As I am unemployable I have worked for myself for about 35 years.

Shirley and I have lived in Skenfrith for 22 years and before that 20 years in Cheshire. We have been married for well over 45 years, I think! We have 2 daughters and umpteen grandchildren.

Interests after work include farming, old tractors and old cars. I have no intention of retiring.

Editor's Note: Sadly, Alan passed away in the latter part of 2007.

John Tucker Thomas

Tucker Rogues

Worked for British Steel as a Quality Manager until my early retirement in 1991, then as a Quality Assurance consultant for 7 years.

My wife Sue and I have lived in Usk for 30 years and celebrate our 40th Anniversary on Boxing Day.

Interests include travelling abroad, watching Glamorgan and Usk cricket teams in the Summer and Ebbw Vale RFC in the winter. Thoroughly enjoying the EVCGS reunions and keeping in touch with old friends including Shirley and Eric Smith and Graham Jones. Computers and digital photography are other interests. All old friends welcome to get in touch.
